The reason the association was established was to get Driving
Instructors together, working and helping each other rather
than working against each other, after all, we are all working
to the same goal, to teach people to drive to the best of our
ability, ensuring our pupils gain as much of our knowledge as
possible in the short time they are learning a lifetime
skill.
Our members meet up around every 2 to 3 months at

We usually have guest speakers including
Driving Standards Agency Examiners and Supervising Examiners.
We also have a none contributing Sickness Scheme in case
any of our members are unable to work for what ever reason.
There is also a free web page (so free advertising on the web).

SICKNESS
SCHEME
Under the existing scheme we have 16 members,
ideally we would like to more than double this
value to give bigger payments when members are off
sick, so we are expanding the system to cover both
contract and pay as you go systems.
Contract – to pay a fixed amount of £10 or £20 or
£30 per month into the Wakefield-dia account, which
is all paid back 1st week in Dec, less any
claims.
( Existing members can leave as is or change end of
year )
( Makes a nice Xmas bonus )
PAY as you Go – in the event of anybody who is in
the scheme being sick then each member will need to
pay £5.00 / week / claim, collected by a member of
the committee.
